A private-practice-style caseload without the marketing, billing, or credentialing grind—built for licensed clinicians who want their autonomy back.
You went into private practice for a reason. Somewhere along the way you ended up doing the parts of the job that have nothing to do with therapy: chasing panels, fighting billing, hunting for referrals, building a calendar around someone else’s needs. That work is real, and most of it goes unpaid.
Private practice therapist jobs usually come with a hidden tax. You either build the whole business yourself, or you hand your autonomy to an agency, or you take a platform seat where the rate feels like a moving target. None of those trade the work you trained for.
Here is how this role actually works. You are a 1099 independent contractor seeing clients over telehealth. You set your own schedule, fully. No one hands you a shift or tells you which evenings to give up. Your calendar is yours to build and change.
Credentialing and paneling are handled for you. That means the slow part of getting started, the insurance paperwork most clinicians dread, happens on our side, and typically faster than doing it alone. You spend your first weeks seeing clients instead of waiting on approvals.
Referrals come to you, and there is no cap. If you want a fuller caseload, you can take as many as are available. There are no session minimums either. We do prefer providers who accept somewhere around ten clients a week, but that is a preference, not a rule you have to hit.
On pay, the rate is the rate. It is above average for the region and it is fair from your first session. It does not start low and climb only if you agree to carry heavy volume. You are not asked to run sliding scale sessions or discount your work to fill a schedule. What you earn does not depend on playing a numbers game.
All of this is remote. You see clients in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, and your license in any of those states is what qualifies you to work with clients there. We hire fully licensed clinicians only: LPC, LMFT, and LCSW.
If your license and your time feel like they belong somewhere better, apply or start a conversation with us. It is a short first step, and you decide what happens next.
