The life you built is mostly what you wanted, and somehow that’s part of what’s making things hard. The kids are older, or gone. A parent is ill, or you’ve lost one. The career that used to define you feels like someone else’s jacket. Or grief has knocked you sideways and you’re not sure who you are on the other side. This isn’t a crisis. It’s a reorientation. In twenty years of clinical work, I’ve come to believe that the people who move through these seasons best are the ones who slow down long enough to hear themselves think. I work with adults across New Jersey on anxiety, grief, and midlife transitions. Telehealth statewide.
My approach is mindfulness-based and grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy. In plain terms, I’ll help you slow down enough to notice what you’re feeling, make sense of it, and decide what to do with it. Sessions are unhurried. We won’t push past the hard parts. We also won’t get stuck circling them. This is a space to think clearly about your life.
If you’ve been wondering whether something needs to change but can’t quite name what, that’s worth exploring. You don’t need a crisis to deserve support, and you don’t need to know what you’d say if you got here. Reach out when you’re ready. Often what people need most is someone who can help them hear themselves think.
